About the Author
Muhammad Hassan al-Homsi is a Syrian writer, founder, general manager and editor-in-chief of Sada al-Iman magazine. He studied tajweed under Dr. Said al-Halwani, and obtained his high school diploma (scientific branch) in 1953, and obtained a bachelor's degree (lisans) from the Syrian University (Faculty of Arts - Arabic Language Department) in 1958. Arabic Language Department) in 1958, and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Damascus (Faculty of Shari'ah) in 1966. He also received a master's degree from Al-Azhar in Cairo (Faculty of Shari'ah and Law) in 1975 and a doctorate in Islamic sciences from Imam Al-Ouzai College in Beirut in 1989. He also received the rank of professor from Omdurman Islamic University in 2000.
In 1967, he worked as a religious teacher and preacher in a number of schools and mosques in Damascus. He participated in many television interviews, seminars, intellectual gatherings and official conferences, and contributed to the activity of the Ansar Charitable Society in Damascus, the activity of Sheikh Ahmad Kaftaro's compound (Abu al-Nour Complex), the establishment of the Syrian and Arab Publishers Union, and also contributed as a member of the Union of Journalists in journalistic activity.
