Saddam's Granddaughter is the story of Saddam's granddaughter Raghad, who lived under her grandfather's regime and witnessed the historical events that took place in Iraq during Saddam's rule. Through Raghad's telling of her family's story, the reader can better understand the conditions in Iraq during Saddam's rule, as well as clarify some of the human aspects of the personality of Saddam and his family members.
