This study deals with the history of the Umayyad Caliphate from its political aspect objectively. The events of the Umayyad history formed a vast Islamic state, in which multiple elements interacted, and witnessed different social and national structures, and political, economic and social developments. تتناول هذه الدراسة تاريخ دولة الخلافة العباسية من جانبها السياسي بموضوعية والواقع أن أحداث التاريخ العباسي معقدة ومتشعبة ومتشابكة، وذات تكوينات سياسية متعددة، وقد شكلت دولة إسلامية مترامية الأطراف، تعد امتداداً لدولة الخلافة الأموية، تفاعلت عليها عناصر متعددة عربية وفارسية وتركية، وشهدت بنى اجتماعية وعنصرية متباينة، وتطورات سياسية واقتصادية واجتماعية هامة، حددت مسيرتها ونهجها، وظل العامل الأبرز في صنع هذه الأحداث والتفاعلات، العقيدة الإسلامية بفعل تأثيرها الجذري في المجتمع الإسلامي.
