This book is written by Yassin Salah Al-Ayoubi, and provides a thorough explanation of the ancient poetry of the poets whose poems have not yet been collected.

Description

Yasin Salah al-Ayoubi said: “I have alphabetized the roots in which the poetry is found, and, as far as possible, I have made a brief definition of the poets of the first section, neglecting to do so for the poets of the second section. Because the poets of the first section are more valuable and more recognizable than the poets of the second section, who are not considered poets, but rather men who uttered some verses from which linguists and grammarians benefited, since the narratives suggest that poetic intuition is a general trait, almost all ignorant people and many Muslims are characterized by it, and in this case it is impossible to find a definition for all these people ... I also intended, in terms of lexical order, to prove the names of famous poets, mostly by their nicknames or titles, omitting the father - or son - such as the following: Ibn Ahmar, I made him in alphabetical order: (Ahmar), ... because he is famous as Ibn Ahmar, as well as Ibn Manzoor, and Ibn Muqbil: I alphabetized him (Muqbil) and not Tamim bin Abi Muqbil - and so on: Al-Ra'i, Al-Mehlhal, Al-Qatami, Al-Mutalmas, and others.”.
