About the Author
He is Sheikh Ali bin Salem bin Yaqoub Bawazir, born in Hadar Mut Governorate in Ghail Bawazir District in 1964.
He studied under Imam Al-Wadi, may Allah have mercy on him, and also studied under Imam Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, and also benefited from the lessons of Imam Ibn Baz and Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Faleh, may Allah have mercy on them.
The Sheikh excelled and studied various sciences, including jurisprudence, tajweed, grammar, doctrine, literature and other sciences, and was distinguished by his soundness of mind, the strength of his memorization, and his peace of mind over his brothers, may God have mercy on him.
He was murdered while going to the evening prayer on February 20, 2014, may God have mercy on him and grant him peaceful rest.
