About the author:
ولد الدكتور خليل إبراهيم بن ملا خاطر بن مُحَيمِيد الخضر العزامي والذي يعود نسبه إلى الحسين بن علي رضي الله عنه، في مدينة دير الزور السورية عام 1357 هـ بالتحديد يوم 15 شعبان.
وكانت أسرته أسرة علمية عريقة من جهة أمه وأباه أيضًا، فأباه هو الشيخ ملا خاطر وهو من علماء القراء ولكنه انقطع عن قراءة القرآن الكريم لأكثر من أربعين عامًا، أما جده من ناحية أمه فهو الشيخ أحمد الكبير وهو من شيوخ السلطان عبد الحميد من العلماء المعدودين في فرات.
