About the author:
Riyadh Abdul Latif bin Ahmed Al-Shihabi is an Iraqi writer and military man. He was born in Al-Shuyoukh locality in Adhamiya in 1366 AH / 1947 AD, grew up and completed his studies there, then entered the Military College in Baghdad in 1965 AD, and graduated from it as an officer in 1968 AD, and was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant, and participated in war maneuvers with great success, and received several medals and awards from the Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Army. He participated in the Ramadan War (October War) in the Golan battles against Israel in 1973, destroyed several Israeli missiles with their bases, and occupied them with his company, in Tell Antar - and raised the Iraqi flag over it.
