The subject of the book: Commercial contracts and bank operations
The contents of the book:
This book deals with two important topics for actors in economic life in general and commercial life in particular. The first is commercial contracts, where we dealt with the general provisions of commercial obligations arising from these contracts, then we devoted the study to some important commercial contracts in practical life, especially contracts for which the organizer has established special regulations in the Kingdom
The study came in accordance with the latest regulations issued by the Kingdom in implementation of the 2030 reform vision. We dealt with the amendments made to the executive regulations of the Sharia Procedure Law with the aim of achieving speedy justice in commercial cases, in addition to the issues of jurisdiction in commercial disputes that were made in implementation of the judicial reform plan. We also dealt with the new commercial mortgage system, in which the regulator made fundamental changes to what was stable in the commercial mortgage system, as it introduced the idea of economic debt instead of commercial debt and expanded the concept of debts that may be guaranteed and the funds and rights that can be mortgaged. There is no doubt that these changes will strongly support the credit needed by economic life in general and commercial life in particular, which will help increase local investments and attract international investments.
And the second topic: The operations of banks, which are considered the lungs of economic life in the modern state, regardless of its political system. This topic was addressed within the framework of the regulations issued and the banking norms settled internally and internationally, such as the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits, issued by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, and was supported by the decisions issued by the Banking Dispute Settlement Committee.
