About the Author
Abdulkarim Abdullah Ali Niazi is a Saudi writer, Islamic thinker and journalist. He was born in Jabal al-Qalaa in Makkah in 1355 AH, his father is Sheikh Abdullah Niazi, a scholar in Makkah and has a seminar at the Grand Mosque.
He received his education at Al-Falah schools in Makkah at the hands of an elite group of teachers.
He was sent to study in Egypt and earned a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Law at Cairo University.
He started his career as an administrative employee and worked as a radio announcer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and moved through a number of government jobs to finally settle at the Ministry of Hajj (and Endowments) as director of public relations and then as a representative of the Ministry of Hajj (and Endowments) at the General Syndicate of Motor Vehicles before retiring.
He contributed to the revitalization of the cultural movement in Makkah through his work as Secretary General of the Makkah Cultural Club and Secretary General of the First International Islamic Symposium at the Ministry of Hajj and Endowments.
He has eight children, the eldest of whom is Dr. Ayman Niazi, a surgeon at Hira Hospital in Makkah, Ghassan, Hud (deceased), Sabaa, Hassan, Abdullah, Ashraf, and Muhammad.
He died on Ramadan 4, 1421 AH / December 1, 2000, at the age of 85 after suffering from illness following a traffic accident he had suffered 17 years ago while going to Medina to give a lecture at the Literary Club, and his body was prayed for at the Grand Mosque.
