About the author:
Ali bin Abdullah Al-Dafa is a Saudi mathematician, researcher and scientific historian in the Arab and Islamic scientific heritage. He obtained his doctorate from Vanderbilt University in the United States of America in «mathematics» in 1393 AH/1973, and after his return to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he joined King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he joined King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and held several positions until he became Dean of the Faculty of Science between 1397 AH/1977 - 1403 AH/1983 AH, and continued his work as a university professor until he retired in 1429 AH/2008.
