About the author:
Khaled Salem Muhammad Al-Ansari, born in 1940 AD, is a Kuwaiti researcher, historian and writer, and he is one of the most important literary figures in Kuwait at all, and he is also the first to document the island of Failaka and write about the fish of the Arabian Gulf in language and literature books, and he became a member of the Kuwaiti Writers Association in 1983 AD, then a board member from the beginning of 1992 AD until 2009 AD, after that he assumed the position of Vice President of the Association, after that a founding member of the Historical Society.
