About the author:
الشيخ محمد محيي الدين عبد الحميد ولد عام 1900م، في قرية كفر الحمام “الشرقية”، ونشأ في كنف والده العالم الأزهري الشيخ عبد الحميد إبراهيم الذي كان من رجال القضاء والفتيا، فدفع به إلى من يحفظه القرآن ويعلمه مبادئ القراءة والكتابة، حتى إذا انتهى من ذلك التحق بمعهد دمياط الديني حين كان والده قاضيًا بفارسكور ودمياط.
