Description

Book description:

  • Author's name: Ahmed Shawky Ammar

  • Number of pages: 176 pages

  • The subject of the book: Fundamentals of magnetic physics, sound and light

The contents of the book:

The book was organized into three sections, respectively, sound, which dealt with mechanical waves, the mechanics of transverse and longitudinal waves, the relationship between the speed (C) of a transverse wave in a taut string and the mechanical properties of the string, the relationship between the speed (C) of a longitudinal wave and the mechanical properties of the medium... and others, and concluded with questions on positive motion.

The second section was on magnetism, which covered the following points: The magnetic field and questions about it, magnetic forces acting on electrical conductors, magnetic forces and torque acting on a winding, magnetic forces and torque acting on a spiral coil, and some applications and questions. He then goes on to talk about how the magnetic field is generated by a moving convector.

The third section dealt with natural light, looking at the following points: Superposition principle, wave interference, Young's experiment, problems, polarization, Brewster's law, double refraction, Nicoll's prism, sample multiple choice questions.
