The book Encyclopedia of the Lives of the Companions included as many Companions as possible, because some authors mention names that others do not consider to be Companions, so the author of this encyclopedia collected what was recorded in all the books of the Salaf scholars, and their number reached (9333) nine thousand three hundred and thirty-three Companions.
