Taqiyy al-Din Abu al-Abbas Abu al-Abbas Ahmad Ibn al-Halim ibn al-Halim ibn Ibn al-Salam al-Numayriyah al-Harani (661 AH - 728 AH / 1263 AD - 1328 AD), better known as Ibn Taymiyyah (ibn Taymiyyah ibn Taymiyyah). He is a jurist, muhaddith, exegete, and mujtahid Muslim scholar from the Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah. He is one of the most prominent Muslim scholars during the second half of the seventh century and the first third of the eighth century AH. Ibn Taymiyyah grew up Hanbali, so he took Hanbali jurisprudence and its fundamentals from his father and grandfather, and he was one of the Mujtahid imams in the sect, as he used to rule on many issues contrary to the Hanbali adoption of what he sees in accordance with the evidence from the Book and the Sunnah and then on the opinions of the companions and the effects of the predecessors.
