About the author:
Rashad bin Kamal Dargoth al-Mughrabi was born in Beirut, where he died. He belonged to an ancient Tripolitanian family from which many jurists, judges, and media scholars excelled, the last of whom were Sheikh Kamal Dargoth al-Mughrabi, Mufti of Sidon (Rashad's father), Sheikh Abdul Majid al-Mughrabi, Secretary of the Fatwa of Tripoli, and Sheikh Abdul Qader al-Mughrabi, Vice President of the Linguistic Society in Damascus.
He completed his high school studies at the Oriental College in Zahle, then moved to the Higher Teachers' House, where he earned his degree, in addition to a license in education in 1928, then moved to the School of Law (1932), then Literature in 1933, he was fluent in Arabic and French, and knew several other languages.
